On Saturday, June 22, 2013, several members of the Class of 1968, from Lumberton Senior High and South Lumberton Junior/Senior High Schools, met at Britt's Park, in Lumberton, NC, for a solidarity "get together." Memories of high school days were shared and old acquaintances were renewed. Everyone enjoyed a decorative cake that commemorated the 1968 Class graduation as well as the well-known Robeson County staple, Bar-B-Que. The next scheduled meeting will be at Ruby Tuesday South, in Lumberton, NC, on July 20, 2013, at 2:00 PM. Wouldn't it be a grand affair for a consolidated Class Reunion at the Agricultural Center for Lumberton City Schools, celebrating education is the key to success?
