The Class of 1965 kicked off their 47th Class Reunion with a BBQ hosted at the home of the Tates and Harriette Hardin,
in Rolesville, NC. When Harriette’s 65th Birthday party was planned, no one had any inclination that it would evolve into a
much bigger bash for all her classmates. Memories filled the conversations as they enjoyed the food and drink. Attending
the BBQ were: Earl Swann (with spouse, Judy) from Fayetteville, NC; Ronald Powell and Helen McMillian Powell from
Lumberton, NC; Clayvon Moody and Lillian Arnette Moody from Winston Salem, NC, Martin Canery from
Fort Washington, MD, Thomasiene Oliver Strickland (with spouse,Thomas) from Lumberton, NC; Rosiene Powell Riley
(lots of family members) from Lumberton, NC; Billy Thompson from Durham, NC; Joyce Ford Anderson from
Newark, Delaware; and Harriette Hardin.
